About Dr Brandon Pump
Dr. Brandon Pump completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide, earning first-class Honours for his research on dental implant health and disease. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Adelaide with Distinction and winning awards for his research exploring the association between an oral bacterium and the effects on the gut.
He has a strong passion for diagnosing and managing periodontitis and other conditions affecting the supporting structures of teeth. Throughout his specialist training, Dr. Pump has developed extensive experience in periodontal therapy, risk assessment, and long-term disease management. He is committed to evidence-based care, with a strong focus on patient education and preventive strategies to minimise the progression of periodontal conditions and improve overall oral health. Dr. Pump has a particular interest in soft-tissue surgery.
Dedicated to ongoing professional development, Dr. Pump stays up to date with the latest research in periodontology and actively engages in clinical learning to refine his skills. He is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists (ANZAP), the Australian Society of Periodontology (ASP) South Australia, and the Australian Dental Association (ADA).
