Dental implants are typically titanium screws that unite with the patients jaw bone, which securely hold a strong and natural-looking replacement tooth. The tooth replacement can be in the form of a single crown, bridge that are screwed into the implants securely and are not removable, or a denture with can click off and on for ease of cleaning

Wisdom Teeth Removal

Wisdom tooth removal is sometimes required to improve a patients periodontal or implant treatment outcomes. For simple extractions your periodontal specialists can remove these. For more complex cases you will be referred to an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon. Leaving third molars can sometimes lead to pain and recurrent infections, dental overcrowding, tooth decay, and the development of cysts or tumors.

Complete Tooth Replacement

In some instances a patient may end up missing all their teeth or require all their existing teeth to be removed. Some patients elect to replace their teeth utilising dental implants. Several dental implant posts (typically 4-6) are inserted into the jaw bone and used to secure a natural-looking bridge or denture.  .

Tooth Extraction

A tooth may need to be extracted for many reasons. This can be carried out under Local, intravenous or general anaesthetic. Typically the remaining tooth socket is filled with a bone graft to help support the future tooth replacement which helps restore and improve oral health.

Bone Grafting

When a patient loses a tooth part of the healing process involves loss of the surrounding gum and bone. Bone grafts are used to replacer this missing bone  We insert bone grafting material in targeted areas to regrow bone where more is needed and prepare for dental implant placement.

Canines Exposure

An impacted canine are teeth that can sometimes become trapped under gum and bone tissue. During orthodontic treatment that can help free up space for there teeth to move into the correct position.This can only be achieved by exposing the tooth crown via a small surgical procedure.
